Five managers from our other 19 locations have also earned this exciting opportunity to go to the Olympic games! Michael will be gone for 2 weeks and has a full itinerary already planned; he will be staying in the flats, touring the city, and has VIP access to the events. He will have the best seats at the gold medal soccer game, basketball game, tennis match and track and field events. The managers earned this excursion to go to the Olympics and enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip by setting records in their sales and setting an example through their management techniques!

Detroit Business Consulting Learns in Sunny Malibu!
Detroit Business Consulting was able to send Elizabeth to
Malibu last week for some hands-on training at one of the largest outsourcing
companies in the world. The trip was both fun and learning-based and she had
the opportunity to network with 10 other top administrators from around the
country.
Friday was spent doing
brain-storming activities, learning scenarios on how to be a better coach and
mentor, and question and answer sessions with some of the top executives in the
business. Saturday, the administrators
were treated to a day at The Dry Bar in Hollywood where they got their hair
done and then were chauffeured in a limo to dinner at Asia de Cuba. Since we have a strictly merit based
business, we enjoy rewarding people for their hard work. We will definitely be planning another fun
trip soon!

Detroit Business Consulting Learns in "The Burgh"
Detroit Business Consulting owner Michael Rosenberg spent time last week in Pittsburgh where he was attending a conference for one of our company's main clients. The Fortune 500 company held an information conference for the companies they outsource their work to and also gave recognition to the top performers. After a day of learning, the owners were wined and dined on a dinner cruise on the rivers of Pittsburgh. It was a great opportunity for the owners to network with each other as well as with the client.

Detroit Business Consulting Takes on New Client and Expands
This is an exciting week for our office; we are taking on a new Fortune 500 client that we started working with this week and we opened our new Philadelphia location yesterday! Due to a need from the companies we represent, we have expanded to our 19th location since we opened less than 5 years ago. Our last expansion was to Cincinnati, Ohio, which has been extremely successful since opening. We have a lot of growth going on in our office right now and we are ready for the next big thing!

Detroit Business Consulting, Inc. Wins Golf Scramble!
This weekend we had our 2nd Annual Rosey Golf Scramble at Sanctuary Golf Course in Sterling Heights, MI. There were twelve teams that participated in Saturday's event, but only one team took home the trophies. The scramble went into an intense overtime between the Grand Rapids team and the Troy & Atlanta team, and the Troy & Atlanta team pulled off the win! John Vance from Detroit Business Consulting got a hole-in-one on a par 4, which made the day all the more exciting!
The golf scramble was part of the annual Rosey Org weekend in Troy. The weekend consisted of conference-style learning on Friday, the golf scramble on Saturday for the guys, a wine tasting for the ladies, and a charity event at Emagine Theatre on Saturday for Donate for Life. It was a full & fun weekend for everyone!

Detroit Business Consulting is at Comerica Park for Tigers Opening Day!

The Detroit Tigers played their opening day game last Thursday at Comerica Park! Since this is such a popular event in the metro Detroit area, we had a two week competition in the office for tickets to go to the game. Ryan, Mike and Elizabeth earned the tickets and got to watch the game four rows behind the dugout in left field! It was a beautiful day for a game and they even pulled off a win to start the season.
What are the next tickets we will be giving away? It looks like we will be getting some Red Wings tickets again this year; their playoffs start tonight!
